NINGNING X VERSACE: THE BEGINNING

The relationship between NINGNING and Versace has long been established before her global ambassadorship. She first worked with the brand at the 76th Cannes Film Festival in 2023, where she was styled with Versace pieces for all three looks she had in event appearances from May 23-24. Her red carpet dress was especially noteworthy as she was the first artist in the world to have worn that dress from the Versace Fall-Winter 2023 collection.
She has since been seen wearing the brand on and off work, attending official events, and interacting with Donatella Versace, online and in person. Donatella even called her "A Versace princess" in her Instagram post of NINGNING's behind-the-scenes photos from Dazed Korea January 2024, which was still before she became an ambassador.

Consistently working with the brand for almost a year, her ambassadorship announcement had been anticipated. Versace announced NINGNING as their Global Brand Ambassador on February 8, 2024. Her first official appearance after the announcement was at Milan Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2024. She led their new bag and holiday campaigns later that year.
